Mains

The main course, also known as the entrée in some parts of the world, is sometimes the only course depending on how much of a banquet you might be preparing.

The first time I had a group of friends over for a meal, I went for the full three-course show. From this I learned:

1. Timing is very important. My main was ready but the soup was still cooking.

2. Start out doing a one-course meal so that I could focus on getting that right.

As I gained experience and confidence, I could move to multi-course meals.

To aid in choosing a recipe, the Mains section has be divided into 6 parts:
